Moving to WA : from overseas

Ferrets are not permitted to enter Australia from overseas, under any circumstances.

View letter from Australian Quarantine & Inspection Service stating that ferrets are not permitted to enter Australia (received 3 May 2007)

There is currently an Import Risk Analysis underway to determine whether the import of ferrets should be allowed, or remain banned. The review has been underway since 1998, and the final decision is not expected in the near future.
