Hello, I am new to the world of ferretting and I was wondering where I would get my first one from? When do the ferrets start having kids? what would you suggest? |

Ben, I would recommend getting your ferrets through WAFFS. Email mail@waffs.org.au or ring the rescue line 1300 133 323. I haven't heard of any being born yet. Female ferrets are only just starting to come into season now. So given that it is six weeks before they give birth and that it is recommended that they are 12 weeks old before they go to new homes, it is possibly still some time before any are available. |
