Hi all! Sid absolutely loves eating snails; but, just to make sure, I thought I'd better ask if they are alright for him to eat. We don't use any poisons in our garden. I remember once he ate two in a row (both from our garden) and he threw up, but he was okay. He seems to enjoy them and he knows how to get them out of their shells too. Catherine |

Some of mine eat them as well. It doesn't seem to worry them at all. Mine also eat cockroaches. I just wish I could teach them to eat the wild mice that run around sometimes |

Our Honey will eat snails if she finds them. She also likes cockroaches. We used to have a hob who would eat lawn beetles. He would throw up soon after but would then find and eat another with the same result. |
