Does any one have any ideas on what ferrets like to eat that IS good for them. . ie: chicken necks. . we are looking for ideas for feeding our 6month old boy Loki |

hi Greg :) Any meaty part with bone is great. Chicken thighs, wings, etc. Some ferrets also enjoy whole fish (sardines are the perfect size) 1kg tubes of chunky meat are available from some pet stores in beef, mutton and roo (from memory). If you are a bit more game, you could try mice, rats and day old chicks (my boys love all these!). Mice and rats are available from any pet store which sells reptile supplies. Day-old chicks usually have to be purchased in bulk, but if you are interested in trying some, I would be happy to give you a few from my supplies :) shona |
