Here's an unusual name: Iktis.  
 
In 350 BC, Aristotle wrote about 'iktis', which is thought to have meant "domesticated ferrets"

We only have one beginning with the letter "U"

Ferret Names

Lateley I have had another read of my 'Chronicals of Narnia' book. I thought Caspian was a good name for a ferret, and when I get my two I'm going to call the hob Caspian . . .
