I’m desperate for answers. Ky is 5 years old. All her life she has had rashes. They come and they go( and I’ve had them treated). But lately they seem to be staying longer and I’m afraid to put her on the drugs they prescribed. They barely worked last time and I don’t believe in filling her up on steroids. However the rashes have moved up in intensity. She now licks her paw and between her thumb and her other finger it is beginning to crack, red and raw. I treated it with paw paw cream and it worked. But now it’s back. Is she just like her owner? Sensitive skin. The vet here in Northam I fear know little about ferrets. |

This could be indicative of a mite. Do you treat her with revolution? She may also need treatment with Ivermectin (Sp?) |
